Urban Tree Service Celebrates Arbor Day with Tree Donation
To celebrate Arbor Day and help beautify Henry Law Park in Dover, Urban Tree Service/A Tree Health Company, Inc., donated a Red Maple Tree to the park. With help from the employees of the Children's Museum and the Dover City Manager, J. Michael Joyal, Jr., the tree was planted on April 30.In light of the donation and planting, Sharon Lucie, Coordinator for the Dover Department of Community Service said, "We have an excellent working relationship with Urban Tree Service, and we really appreciate every tree and planting donation they have provided."
On Arbor Day in 2009, Urban Tree Service donated a Lumber Pine at Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover. Other tree donations have included Dover Elementary School, Garrison School, Horne Street School and Woodman Park School.
"The act of donating and planting trees throughout the communities we serve gives us great pride. We hope to foster and encourage more planting as the benefits range from natural enjoyment, energy efficiencies, drainage assistance, the list goes on," said Ed Hopkins, president of Urban Tree Service/A Tree Health Company, Inc. "It's our pleasure to be a local resource."
